Business Innovation and Resiliency Fund

View / Download

The Community Foundation of Mendocino County believes that any response effort to ameliorate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic should also include the small business community.  The Community Foundation established the Business Innovation and Resiliency Fund to help countywide businesses to adapt, innovate, and pivot in the face of the pandemic crisis and marketplace changes. The fund is made possible by an anonymous lead gift that was matched locally by many contributors. Significant funding came from the J-Olivanti Fund, the Mayfield Family Economic Development Fund, the DeLucia Family Fund, the Jantzen-Romelli Donor-Advised Fund, and the South Ukiah Rotary Foundation as well as gifts from Pacific Gas & Electric, Ted and Wilma Westman Fund, Jim and Babbie Mayfield Fund, and The Kevin and Bree Klotter Charitable Trust. The Community Foundation is partnering with West Business Development Center to re-grant and manage these funds in its capacity as a non-profit small business development center.
