Welcome to Healthy Mendocino
Connecting people and information
for better health

The goal of Healthy Mendocino is to improve the quality of life in our county. The website furthers this goal by encouraging informed dialogue about the actions local residents and organizations can take to improve community health. It contains information on a broad range of factors that affect health and well-being—everything from air quality to student achievement to poverty. In addition to the indicators on health and its influences, which are the heart of the website, Healthy Mendocino contains:
  • background information;
  • graphics showing comparisons and changes over time;
  • feature stores, news stories, and reports;
  • a community calendar;
  • a link to the 211 directory of local services; and
  • a database of promising practices from around the U.S.
