Changes to Services Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

 

Due to the COVID-19 Shelter in Place order, Employment and Family Assistance Services offices in Ukiah, Willits and Fort Bragg are currently closed to the public.  Staff is onsite to provide assistance by phone including processing of applications and ongoing benefit issuance. 

Options available to apply for and maintain benefits include:

  • C4Yourself.com – allows applicants to apply for benefits including CalWORKs cash aid, CalFresh, and Medi-Cal services. Current recipients can also access their cases with services that include uploading documents, printing forms, checking benefit status, and more.
  • GetCalFresh.org – accepts applications for CalFresh, formerly known as food stamps
  • CoveredCA.com – accepts applications for health care services
  • Contact our Office - To receive assistance or an application packet by mail, Staff is available by phone Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 5pm.

    • In Fort Bragg 707-962-1000 or 877-327-1677 (Fax 962-1010)
  • Paperwork can be submitted at myverifications@mendocinocounty.org
  • Replacement EBT cards are currently only available by mail by calling 877-328-9677
