2020 Healthy Mendocino Community Meeting

Save the Date! Thursday May 28, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
at the Willits Community Center

This community gathering may be rescheduled in the event of further COVID-19 mandates

Healthy Mendocino is sponsoring a county-wide Community Meeting to introduce the new 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and roll out the 2020/2022 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) which addresses the Mendocino County’s most pressing health priorities as identified in the CHNA. We will be collecting your ideas on ways to implement the CHIP work and approaches individuals, agencies and organizations can take to affect sustainable change in Mendocino County. You do not want to miss this opportunity to share your stories and give feedback on how to increase the health and well-being of our communities.

Who is Healthy Mendocino? We:

  • Connect people and organizations to information for the health and well-being of Mendocino County by maintaining a website of health data indicators, community resources and reports on local projects.
  • Engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders in a community dialogue about community health and enrich the understanding of local health issues and solutions.
  • Lead a collaborative Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and develop a subsequent Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) to engender a shared vision, identity and set of priorities around community health improvement.
